Our flagship is a replica of the original knife used by the Vietnam War Era's 5th Special Forces Group known as the Studies and Observation Group (SOG). Secretly developed and used in covert missions, the SOG Bowie was a steadfast companion in one of the harshest environments in the world.

Made in the same factory as the original, the SOG Bowie has become a classic knife for enthusiasts around the world and is unparalleled in authenticity and quality. Like the original, it has a gun-blued carbon steel blade and an exquisite epoxied, stacked leather washer handle. The thick blade, deep hollow grind and faceted reinforced tip make this an appealing field knife to be used for a variety of tough chores and missions. It is also one of the most collected pieces by knife enthusiasts around the world. It carries in a high-quality leather scabbard equipped with a special sharpening stone and also comes with a classic leather lanyard.

How appropriate that for our 20th anniversary we launch a new adaptation of the original SOG Bowie that founded the company. This new large format 7-1/2” blade will stun you with its exacting construction and precise grind lines. Unlike the originals, all parts are protected with our Hardcased™ Black TiNi coating that is the very best for appearance and performance. The stacked leather washer handle is completely traditional.
